 Band Size:
You’ll first need to find out your bra’s “Band Size”, or the part of the bra that wraps around you. Take the tape measure and wrap it under your bustline, near your ribcage. Be sure the tape measure is comfortable around you, and take a look at how many inches you are. Then, add 5 inches to that numver. If you’re looking for a more supportive bra, add only 2-3 inches. This is you your band size, or the number (such as “36”) in your bra size.
Cup Size:
To determine the cup size, or the letter in your bra size (such as “C”), take the tape measure and place it around you on top of the largest part of your breasts. Subtract your band size and cup size. Record the difference between the two numbers. The difference between your band size and cup size will tell you your cup size:
Difference (in inches):
- Less than 1: Cup Size AA
- 1 inch: Cup Size A
- 2 inches: Cup Size B
- 3 inches: Cup Size C
- 4 inches: Cup Size D
- 5 inches: Cup Size DD or E
- 6 inches: Cup Size DDD or F
- 7 inches: Cup Size DDDD or G
